I code all of my plugins in Borland Delphi, which is the successor of Turbo Pascal. The
Delphi compilers are available in several versions, from free or cheap to high-end
enterprise solutions, but even the standard Delphi editions (or older versions) are
considered excellent in speed, optimisation and ease of use, while being equally
powerful as C++ !
